Huntershill Safaris is situated in the picturesque foothill of the Stormberg Mountains of South Africa and operates form a privately owned game farm.  Here we will endeavor to give you an African hunting safari you will never forget.

We offer a large selection of plains game for rifle or bow hunting.  Our preferred method is “walk and stalk”, however should the hunter be unable to walk long distances exceptions will be made.

Also on offer is a wide variety of wing shooting, species include Greywing Partridge, Guinea Fowl, Egyptian Geese, Spurwing Geese, Rock Pigeon and Ducks.  Should you be a keen fisherman and would like to try our waters for Trout or Bass the necessary arrangement can be made.

Hunting takes place all year round, however we recommend the cooler months of the year, which are from April through August.  The duration of a safari is usually determined by the amount of  animals required and the species involved.

We recommend you bring your own hunting rifles, however hunting rifles can be hired by prior arrangement.  For plains game any caliber rifle in .270,7mm Rem Mag, 30-06,308 or 300 Win-Mag is advised.  About 60 rounds of ammunition should get you through a 12-14 day safari.  For bird shooting 12 or 20 gauge shotguns are recommended.

Clients will be collected at the East London airport upon arrival and will be returned on the last day of the hunt.
